well i just ordered some enkei j-10 16" rims in black with a polished lip. i was wondering what everyone thought about colored lugnuts. i am looking at the rays lugs. will the black or red ones fade. also what do you think the red ones would look like with those rims on a silver car. let me know. thanks

 

no one has color lug nuts or an opnion on the brand or look of the lugs on my car.

 

I have currently on some 15s with Zenki's in red. Yes, they look good at first IMO, but like most red anodized lug nuts, they have faded to a light pink.

 

The red Rays will fade as well. I just stick with black lugs. The black Zenkis I had faded too even though the company said they made them better so I went with the Muteki that JLB (sig) suggested and now no problem

 

I have black zenki lugs, they faded really quickly, but the actually look pretty cool faded. The black is fading into a gold color, so it looks like someone burned the ends of the lug nuts, but they turned goldish

 

^ they'll eventually go from the gold to just silver.
