speedometer cable
My odometer and speedometer doesnt work any idea what happen? and how I can fix it? all help would be greatly appreciated. I searched and nothing came up thanx. Also does a SI dash mount perfectly?? I have a 91 civic dx and want my rpm tach. Thanks
your speedo is a direct cable connection from the tranny to the speedo. its whether the cable gear, cable, or your cluster.
and an Si cluster is plug in play but make sure you get the right year (88-89 or 90-91)

I dont have to run any wires?? I have a dx so I dont know if the rpm's came wired already. Do I have to run the wires to the distributor? Thanks for all the help.

No.
1. Pull out DX cluster
2. Install Si cluster opposite of removal of DX cluster
Everything works. Also, if you want the lights to match your type of vehicle, use an Si Civic or CRX in a hatch and an LX/EX in a sedan. (All lights will work with whichever you use, but hatches have the double seatbelt light.)

anything will fit if you want it to bad enough. j/k, do you mean the entire dash or just the cluster? here is the cluster https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=991363
