Default Wheel offset ques.

If i was going to buy some wheels for my 02 civic Si, and i wanted 17's, what off set is correct for the car? it is stock everything. Is it the same thing as the original wheel offset? thanx

i think stock is +40.

there really is no correct offset. different offsets will give you different stances. for instance, i have an rsx with +35. it's a really wide stance, but i'll live

You have what is considered a "high" offset which is anywhere from 35-40mm. As long as you stay within that range, you will be fine.

hoffman is right. Imports (with exception of 240s/supras ... RWD you get the idea) normally have high offset.
