Since this weekend . Glad I was there to see it in person. The vid doesn't give the run it's justice.

This is in my opinion one of the most impressive accomplishments ever in a import drag car. to shep on the runs this weekend, especially after all you went through sat night/sun morning gettting the car back together....
must've been Ivey's gangsta starter that made it run that fast!

Is the vid still working?? It only has them on 2 step for me, not the run.

Congrats to him such a bad *** car.

Of course, I belive there is always a couple tenths left to be found in most any car, especially cars as new and different (relatively speaking) as ours. There's always more power, always a way to find a bit more traction, always a little more track tuning to be done. I guess what i'm trying to say is that there's hardly ever a perfect run, and if there is then there's always more power to be found.

Congrats to Shep

"This year was meant to just test and try things I have always wanted to. Some things worked great and others like the clutch switch to launch idea just did not no matter how many different ways I tried to adjust and configure it.

The 8.4 pass posted above was still on the clutch switch and if you watch it closely the car moves at least a foot before it takes off which kills et. Now I am learning a new way to drive with the button on the wheel to control antilag and the line lock but it is working much better.

John"

Just to refresh your memorys' Shep said that in another topic. He'll have this thing dialed in next season and be clicking off 7s!

I'd bet a sub second 0-60 and somewhere in the 4's in the 1/8th.

About time to change his licence plate too

I'd say more like 5-teen's in the 1/8 at around 140.

I thought he ran high 4's at St.Louis? I could be wrong though.

I dunno, but we have a buddies small tire car that's gone 4.90's in the 1/8 and 7.8's in the 1/4, so I'm just going off guesstimation.

60' = 1.393
330' = 3.597
1/8 et = 5.359
1/8 mph = 138.84
1/4 et = 8.146
1/4 mph = 177.60
