i have a little debate with a friend of mine , he claims that there is No 10sec civics what he means street is full interior stock or upgraded wheels and street driven... I told him that at lease 10 civics like that exist ...

you can go to nhrasportcompact.com and look up the rules for sfwd to see what these cars all have.

 

hundreds if not thousands exist. this isnt like 6+ years ago when there wern't any affordable engine managments or affordable means to put together a strong motor. these days stripping the interior is barely even needed on all motor hondas, but definatly not needed for turbo ones.

it really depends on what he means by upgraded wheels. B/c there isnt a single street driven honda that is gonna make it into the 10s with street tires. They all need slicks.

 

There are quite a few 10sec street driven honda(s)/Acura(s). Like mine there probably just not daily driven because of the amount of money put into them, but they can easily be driven on the street.

cunha went 10.2 on the m&h dot's. nj has some fast street cars.

 

What's his name Bill W. went like 10.89 with street tires. He was in an issue of DSPORT last year some time.

M&H DOT's are not drag radials Blown90Hatch went 10.8 @ 141 on his first pass with M&H DOT's.

this thread is pretty sad.. im making over 600hp in my car and probably drive it on the street more than most people drive their stock civics. my last car went 11.1 and i used it as a shop car to run parts around town all day... like was said above. its not like it was years ago when a 10 sec pass was out of the ordinary...
