crome pro's - i can't figure out wtf i need to datalog and run rtp on my p72/ p28

You need the crome pro license to datalog.
Plugins > Enhancements > Remove Checksum & Quick DL+RTP is your friend.

The only viable RTP solution to my knowledge is the Ostrich from http://www.moates.net
Craig Moates has all of the hardware you need for chipping, datalogging, and emulation, not to mention his customer service is the best around.
