more details.... what kind of times was our good friend running?

 

We ran consistent 10.3s at 134mph, still on a bad cylinder head. Just like in Fontana, we are still down 42 whp.

For the past 3 years, I have always run on the same head, until the night before the last Fontana Battle. A hairline fracture forced me to retire it (nothing lasts forever), leading me to install an experimental head, that is not ideal for my setup. I cannot believe how fast this car is with so much less horsepower!

The good guys are RS Machine are almost done with 2 of my new heads. We are on track to get the power back, and have tons of fun very soon.

Thanks, John, for the kind words and support. Sport compact drag racing is still very strong. The crowds in Washington show a taste of what is to come. Thanks BOTI for staying in the game, and drawing enormous fans, racers and support for our scene.

 

bisi got a little close to the center line and had to back out of it 2Xs in our 1st round matchup. good talking to you again bisi, your a complete class act. thanks for the early BOTI chit chat.
