Why do some of you build up heads without port and polish?
Im building a b16, and im wondering why some people dont port and polish and why others do? Whens it good to do it and when is it not?

money, money, and money....oh, and a lack of knowledge...(why those DON'T do it)
when is it a good time to do it...I found it was a matter of if your build necessisitates (big cams etc.) a p&p...mine did, so I spent the money. just what i've read and been told...

most of the power is made in the bowl and a proper valvejob, stock honda ports are very good from the factory
yeah you would be surprised how awesome they are cast... a good cleanup of the bowls , unless you want to spend the time and/or money to do a full p&p and are looking for that tiny edge, will be plenty sufficient
So really i should just have it hot tanked and no port and polish. Cause im not building a race motor, just a stock b16 block with buddy club 3+ cams and oni valve train.
