i want to put a 95 d16z6 in take on my 91 si hatch.there is one sensor that is not on the 95 but is on the 91. its the fast idle control selonoid,has anyone done this??

no, the z6 intake has that-.not the other sensor.it has tps sensor,air temp,and iac sensor.on down the forum some one else asked this same question.

i called my buddy at the dealer he said the sensor is the fast idle selonoid.he said on 92 and up its programmed in the ecu.do you just leave this undone?im sure it would make the check eng light stay on.

 

hey 4gvtec,im gonna either try an make an plate with a vacuum nipple on it or tap and tread an nipple directly into the sensor,then im gonna connected to a vacuum source,hopefully itll work and not set off a light.

 

Put your 91 intake/throttle body on the z6

Wouldn't that fix it?

 

im trying to see if anyone has used a z6 intake throttle body on a 88-91 civic si.every thing plugs in except ,the z6 dont have a fast idle control selonoid on the back of the intake like the 88-91 si does.

already have 91 intake/throttle on it,swapping to Z6 cause Z6 manifold has bigger ports
