Default d15 clutches different HELP!!!!

Ok I have a d16z6 clutch and flywheel laying around (centerforce) and it doesn't want to slide onto the input shaft of the d15b2 transmission I have....but it slides perfectly onto the HF transmission from the car..... I didn't think the input shafts were any different correct me or let me know if I am wrong.

What year is the d15b2? I believe 89-91 input shafts will work but 88 is the oddball and is slightly larger or slightly smaller. (I forget off the top of my head)
