Axle on CRX w/B16 is tweaking... Need help!!!!
I just recently swapped a b16a1 into my 90 CRX Si. I bought the swap from a totaled CRX. Engine works great, tranny is ok (minus grinding from 3 to 4) but the passenger side axle is tweaking out (so I think). The axle seems to be fine while taking right turns and going straight but it makes this awful thumping sound and shakes the entire car when going left. If anyone has any info, it'd be very appreciated.
is the axle from the wrecked car? If so, that is likely your problem. The axle was probably bent in the wreck.
What mounts did you use?

The car was wrecked. I figured it was fine because it was hit in the back. And the mounts look like a custom fab job.
I'm not sure how to repair/replace these axels (still n00b status). Besides going to Hasport and getting those axles, is there a cheaper way of fixing this?

I wouldn't trust the mounts....can you take some pics of the engine mounted in the car...from various angles? You could replace the axle, but if the mounts have the engine located in the wrong spot, you will just be dealing with the same problem, over and over.

I'm at work so this is all I have. I'll be able to post some better pictures tonight.
