Hi

I heard some rumors that it´s possible to put the 4 pot calipers from the accord on my Euro-spec EG9. Is this true and if so what else I have to change.

The reason why I´m asking for is because I often was at the race track (nürburgring Nordschleife) with my civic and the complete brake system is too bad for this purpose. I use Goodridge Brake Lines, Zimmermann cross-drilled brake discs, EBC Racing Pads and DOT 5.1 Brake Fluid but after 15km I can kick the brake pedal down to the metal.
I think that the spoon 4-pot calipers are much too expensive and I hope that you guys can help me out.
Maybe there´s another way you can tell me to clear this problem by an economical method.

Yo take some pics of your brake calipers for me, and with some measurements too. There should be a way with OEM parts. What accord is this from? and what kinda pads/rotors it use?

 

I have to take them off to make some pics and take some measuresments but I´ll let you know asap.
I don´t know from what accord they from. Like I said it was just a rumor that any calipers from any accord should fit the EG6/9
