What to buy with 700 bucks for a stock b16a??
So get them.
1) get a decent intake
2) ctr cams (w/ cam gears if possible)
3) itr intake mani
4) aftermarket header
there thats about 700 and they are all relative;y "easy" bolt ons that should yield you 15-20 hp with proper installation and tuning. oh and btw, i forgot to mention a catback exhaust but i figured u might already have one, and if you dont then you DEFINATELY need that. b16 no like stock piping.
So get them.
dont be an ***. 700 for a B16? then i reccomend the following

1) $125
2) $450
3) $200
4) $250 (cheapo DC) - $1,000 (SMSP, Hytech, or decent JDM)
Don't chince on parts, you will HATE yourself later.
What would I do?
1) Find some used ITR springs/retainers for about $150 (what I paid).
2) Find a mildly used set of R cams for abour $300
3) AEM short ram for $115 (no need for cold air - only gives you a small boost in midrange and the same top end, not worth the extra $100)
4) Used Fields VTEC controller $150
5) Some time on a dyno.
Save more money and get a DECENT header, it will make all the difference, and have a shop make a custom 2.25" cat-back for you.

How is that being a ***? If he wants to get something, he should get what he wants. Not what you all tell him to get.
Don't wast your money on those intakes, just make your own. It's very easy to do and can get the same power from about 50 bucks.
I would get some itr cams(used maybe)
DC headers.
and Maybe a shift ****?

i got one from Locash and the thing is great. It works very well with a set of type R-cams and other bolt ons such as intake manifold, header, and AEM. YOu will notice the difference. Check with EG6AJK off this board. He chips ecus to whatever specs you want. He is straight up and does great work. IM him when you want an ECU.
