m0I need help with swapping A '94 B18B1 5 Spd. Motor into a '98 Civic EX Coupe 5 Spd.....
I have a 1998 Honda Civic EX, it had the D16Y8 motor in it. But I spun a rod, so I decided to get a 1994 Acura Integra LS motor and 5 Spd. tranny ( B18B1 ), from a friend....I need help in knowing what all parts, ( motor mounts, shift linkage, wiring needs, ETC. ), I will need to complete the swap...
****Any Help would be greatly appreciated.....*****
Thanks,
Josh

you will need the mounts for a 99-00 si especially the rear "T" bracket.
to let you know putting an OBD1 engine into an OBD2 carwill not pass emmissions. you can add an oil pump and a CKF sensor to get it to pass but it will run. you will also need the ecu and a jumper harness unless you go qwith an OBD2 ls ecu, but you will have a check engine light because of the lack of the CKF sensor.
please chime in if i have forgotten anything.

Thanks for the info...Although not much help....I love in Alabama, we do not have emission laws here....I have OBD-1 ECU and wiring harness from the '94 Acura Integra LS ( B18B1 ).....What motor mounts would I need to get to make it work ??? And what shift linkage shuld be used ???....The motor has been completely rebuilt, from the groud up....I need to get it running soon, if I don't the rings are going to go bad....
Motor Mounts: 3rd gen integra upper drivers side, 3rd gen integra lower drivers side and ac bracket (your stock ac compressor will not bolt back up correctly), 3rd gen integra lower tranny mount, and SI rear mount. The only one that will bolt up like it is is the upper tranny mount.
Shift Linkage: Any b series shift linkage should work.
Wiring Harness: Im not sure so someone correct me if im wrong but i did a b18c1 swap into my civic and reused my stock harness but modification will be required no matter what harness you use.
ETC: You will also need b-series axles and halfshaft, and probably various other things you will run into while doing the swap.
