I went to go check out a type-s I want to purchase from an individual owner. Here are the specs.. lemme know what you guys think:

2002 RSX Type-S
Pearl White
Engine completely stock with 44k miles
Front OEM Lip
Side OEM Skirts
Lowered on Eibach Sportlines with camber kit.
Plenty of tire tread left.
Minor blemishes nothing really major on the interior or exterior.
He also replaced the clutch at the acura dealer because previous owners rode it a lot.
Been owned by 4 previous owners.
Runs smooth.
Car fax checked out clean with a minor collision with a parked vehicle not an accident, but fixed, can't even notice it.
ASKING $17,000.

What do you guys think? Decent price or overpriced? Thanks.

 

I wouldnt feel real good about 4 owners on an '02, not to mention having had a clutch burned out, someone that really didnt know how to drive has owned that car. Of course the other other alternative is they ragged the hell out of it and that is why the clutch was blown. If I was buying this car I would want it cheaper and would get it really well checked out.

i agree that this car is very easily trodden and probably has felt every bit of the 44k miles..... find a different car man.

 

17 is way too much. u can find 00 s2k's at that mileage for the same price. 02 s2k for 20k with the same mileage.

 

don't pay that much for an 02 that 4 other people didn't want; that seems to indicate to me that something is wrong, or has been wrong.
