Default Gas milage....stock B16 sirII & stock B20VTEC

Just curious did anyone lose, gain, stay the same in gas milage going from a stock JDM B16 swap to a stock B20VTEC swap using a B16 head and tranny in an EG??

b20 uses a larger bore, ie larger displacement, you need more fuel to burn in the combustion process. so theoretically yes gase mileage is going to take a hit. I'm not even factoring larger fuel flowing applications as well such as injectors, pump, etc

highway miles = 36mpg
city/highway / ripping it every now and then = 32mpg

jdm b16a / gsr cams / itr manifold

I just did the exact swap. Went from a JDM B16 to a B20 block, same head. Needed bigger injectors. Said and done I went from 425KM per tank to 350KM per tank.

Wow that big of a drop, did you used the B16 tranny or a GSR one?
