Thanks for stopping by to take a look at this beautiful Black 2000 Acura Integra
Type R with 63k miles. I'm pretty sure you know how rare these babies are.
Most have been stolen or wrecked. Others have been modified beyond belief. Towering rear spoilers, wheels weighing in at 40 lbs a piece, reptile looking body kits, and engine modifications that produce less power than stock. It's nice to run into a stock, unmolested Type R once in a while. This happens to be one. Stock front lip, stock rear spoiler, stock wheels, stock engine and transmission, etc... The only modification is a cold air intake system. We all know this is the best model in the Integra line up. There's different trim levels available from 1994-2001 - RS, LS, SE, GS, and GS-R. Finally, in 1997 Honda released the Type R model. The engine is a rev happy 1.8 liter DOHC VTEC engine producing 195 hp and 130 ft. lb torque. This engine redlines at 8500 rpm. Where other engines would just die. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission with Limited slip differential. Great balance and control. I've driven this baby for about 200 miles. There's nothing like it.
A little on it's history. This Type R is a theft recovery vehicle with a NY 907a Salvage title. Clearing a Salvage title is pretty easy and straight forward. Fill out the salvage inspection application and have the vehicle inspected. The car can be registered as soon as you pass inspection.
Usually stolen Type R's are stripped to the bone. Thankfully this Type R was spared. The only things missing are the front seats, rear seats, and front strut bar. Driver's airbag was missing but was replaced. The ignition switch was broken, this was also repaired. I have receipts for the Airbag and ignition switch. All you need is seats to get this baby back on the road.(Please check out my other auctions: USDM Type R rear seats up for auction). I should also have access to the front seats in a few days. Everything else is intact. Radio is in working order. Radio comes with anti-theft code. All carbon fiber pieces are intact. All vin # stickers are intact. All original OEM parts. No signs of an accident. The front lip may need some painting(please look at the pictures). The car is in perfect shape. The engine is perfect. Transmission shifts perfectly. Door panels are intact. The A/C is ice cold.
