Default Little mystery hose

Aight so Im putting in some oil into my car since it enjoys burning it and I was just looking around when I notice this little hose sticking out of nowhere. I found it kinda strange I've never noticed it since Ive had the car. It's not really effecting the car I dont think, and Im not getting any CELs or anything. Im just curious as to what it is since I cant see where it could connect to, the only thing I can think of is maybe it was connnected to something I removed when I took off the resonator and just forgot about it. Anybody know?

I have one of those too is it coming off the transmission I think it may be a cooling tube cause they used the same tranny housing as the autos do.. so they plug the holes on the 5 spds and use the plugs on the autos....

its a vent tube for the tranny. I tried putting a cover over it and when I took the cover off it sounded like I was letting air out of a tire!! Also capping it will make your tranny seals leak due to the excess pressure, mine did. I use that tube to fill up with tranny fluid, too.

indeed it is. nothing special about it. just a vent and a good way to add tranny oil.

before peps start adding oil in there make sure the spot where you normalyy add the fluid is out ...if the axels and tha filler olt are it will take days to fill....or do liek i did and tape a funnel (steal it form yoiur wifes kitchen) stick in it the funnle blow a bit . once its free of oil suck on the straw till you cant suck no more and the vacc will pull the oil n faster then you can poor it
