How can I tell?
I'm going to buy some Type R cams and I have a GS-R now. I wanna know if you guys can tell me the difference between the two cams visually. I was told before that the Type R cams have 2 rings at the end of the cam. Is this true, and what other ways are there to tell visually the difference? Thanks for the help.

The only real way to tell is to use a micrometer. I have seen Type-R cams with and with out the ellusive "rings". A micrometer is the only way to tell for sure.
