The cost and labor will probably far outweigh the benefits. AFAIK, you'd need the pump, lines, steering rack, probably rear beam, and other misc. stuff. Have you driven it yet? No PS in a Civic really isn't a big issue if you're moving a little bit.

I just have one question for you. Why??? I have a car that weighs about 400 more pounds than yours does and I never have a problem with it.

*Edit*, and I don't have power steering obviously.

Yeah I have no problems at all, my car isn't equipped w/ p/s from the factory. At first it's a little tricky but u will like it.

This is true. When at high speeds It does feel a little fishy. i would like more resitance myself.

Unless there is something wrong with your car, you shouldn't notice a *whole* lot of a difference once the car is moving. There will be a slightly better feel for the road, but not too much.

My car had no P/S from the Factory. And I'm comparing the feel of a non-p's vs a car that has p/s but taken off.

The non p/s car will have more resistance than the car w/ the rack and pinion.

I was judging my thoughts on on that. The reason while I probably feel it "fishy" more is under heavily accel ( I also have a motor swap, so the car has more power than what it is used too rather that the stock D15)

Don't waste your money on power steering. I have a 93 cx with no p/s and I drive it daily and don't have a problem. After a day or two of driving you won't even notice the difference. Save the money for a swap or turbo kit. IMO

Sounds like $300-$500 in labor and parts. You need the rack, brackets, belt and who knows what else. Just look at a car of the same year with p/s....whatever it has that yours doesn't is what you need. I like my cx without power steering so i would never do this mod but good luck to you
