hey man, I was there today. I came from pittsburgh just to spectate. nice event, but have some ideas for next year; lower the price, $15 is kindof steep just to spectate, second try and get this promoted a little better, there are some fast hondas in the Pa/Oh area that werent there. I wasn't sure why? maybe the weather the past days turned them away. but anway, it was a good time, and a nice day. thanks man from the pittsburgh guys.
you guys really need a new flyer if youre gonna do it next year, all you had was the date and classes listed and easy to find, no one had times of anything besides like a day or 2 ago and all i could find was that the gates opened at 9. next no one knows where the hell salem is, use akron canton area to help pull guys there. last put some prices up, a couple people posted is late in the game just like the times but put it out there early so people can plan ahead and get their stuff together.
it was a good turnout though, corey's car is a beast, i got to see that one from early stages in the build and he did an awesome job with it.

I am here to give prop's to Autowerks Motorsports for there quick times. There best was a 11.08 on there Turbo 4 car, I think if it wasn't for them breaking a axle they would have given SlowMotion a run for there money.
The Grey Integra was also running pretty quick for a street car with A/C and power steering.
Way to run'em Autowerks!!!!!

I broke alot of stuff on this day, my first breakage was an axel in the all motor car, then an alternater belt in the all motor car, we got that all taken care of,
then after my 3rd pass 11.5@126 my next run it wouldent go into gear, i balled up my drivers motor mount. but all and all it was a good day and i left with alot of cash and such, as for the fastest non-vtec i think it was steve from pa, he went like 12.0@125? i think i beleive that was the 3rd fastest car there and it was non-vtec
i dont know if he get the nonvtec award or not,
did anyone ever break 10s on street tires?

Joe fastest anyone has ever gone on BFG's is 11.0's(jim hucks and brian fisher) both trapping at 135mph or so. on bias ply streets there have been 10's but no sanctioning body will let you run them in the street tire classes so BFG's is the only "true" street tire you can run in sanctioned events

I would have to say National Trails outside of Columbus off of I70. 2.5 hours from Pitt, 2 hours from Cincy and Cleveland. 3 hours from Indy and Detroit. It would be more of a centralized location and i bet you would have a bigger turnout.

Norwalk would be a very good one, they have excellent track prep and it is quite fast, plus its actually around stuff(sandusky, toledo, cleveland, bowling green, findlay)all no more than an hour away, not out in no mans land salem, oh
They also give u time to line up at the tree and actually get settled in and ready to go
