Would it be stupid to buy suspension before motor mods? The car is stock. Its either new shocks/struts, springs, camber, and Control arms or an engine swap.
The swap would just be a d-series.

 

Well you wouldn't gain much HP, so I would do the Suspension package you would have more fun with it.

 

Suspension should always come before a swap. In your case, since you're swapping to a z6, I think you'd be fine doing that first, because the power distance won't be drastic (the car would still handle it fine). But I'd still suggest suspension first. The car would be ALOT more fun to drive.

 

Yea, i was thinking suspension, because i like the turns better than the strait-aways

 

I always say suspension first, but in my case, i think i need to ditch this b8 asap... I may buy a wrecked integra and do everything at the same time though. if you don't have a cx, do suspension first.

 

Suspension and then turbo the D if it's still in good condition.

just what i was thinking!!!! good suspension and the put a nice little turbo on it and call it a day!!!

 

imho brakes and suspension are always on the top of my list. then i can worry about being faster
