HOW to hook up air/fule Gadges??? in 95 civic dx

where do i hook it up at???

 

if its an autometer then the purple from the guage goes to the white wire on your O2 sensor. I'm pretty sure its the white, I dont remember exactly.

 

Yeah I can't remember either, but it's either the white one or the green one. I'm pretty sure it's the white one

 

where the O2 sensor at on engine

 

its on the exaust manifold (front of engine) left side , aiming torwards the transmission. or if it has a aftermarket header it could be right bellow the firewall, on the header. hope that helps. It will have 4 wires attached to it . just get a haynes manual at pep-boys and find the white wire coming from the o2 sensor to the computer(ecu) and tap into it there. other than that just hook your power up to a switched power source , when the ign. is on.

 

To hook up air /FUEL gauge run purple wire fromt he gauge or what ever is your signal wire not your ground or power, and run it to the white wire on your O2 sensor, white is the siganl green is ground and one of the blacks is 12v and the other is the O2 sensor heater 12v. Good luck, EASY install

 

i got mine connected off the ecu.. i dont like wires in the engine bay...
