If I change the stock midpipe and catalytic converter, for a magnaflow high flow (...looks like a descent converter...) and a 2.25 inches midpipe, will I have enough back pressure, or will that affect the performance of the engine? I have a big muffler in the back by the way.
I've heard that some "high flow converters" will make a terrible gas mileage to the car, and plus, are not doing anything to keep bad pollution from coming out of the exhaust!!!
Maybe that's why they only cost 40 bucks already shipped to your home.
The magna flow cost around 60 bucks, says "..high flow, more performance, and increased gas mileage, legal emissions"...
Believe or not, I really don't want to have bad emissions for a few horsepower.
Anyway, if someone can tell me anything about the main question! Or any suggestion, I appreciate that!!!
Thanks!

Yes the "high flow cat" will affect emissions... it's nothing more than a resonator. You will still maintain enough back pressure though to continue proper operation of the vehicle (2-3 mpg loss tho
