Default Back agian ..EJ8 DIY:Grill completed**

Well, Came out pretty good I think. Looks alot diff that the older H grill. Heres the outcome ...

As you can see we have a bumper ..

And these are screws ...That I did take out MYSELF one by one ..Yes I know. They dont call me ASE Certified for nothing.

Weapons of choice ...Was kinda worried about that grill but, seems fine.

Drum roll ........ And there she is. Pretty simple. Didnt take to long except the few minutes I had to step away from the dremel because scalding plastic shot in my eye.

Heres my final with it chopped . Only thing Im waiting on is that CTR Lip.

Nothing ground breaking but regardless. That's alot of PS for a DIY thread.

I'm not too fond of those DIY grille's using that weak mesh. It's so easy to cut or even push through and bam your hood cable is easily accessible. Not saying the oem piece was any better. I'd go with the replica plastic ones.

when i worked at home depot in the "building materials" dept. customers would ask what mesh they could use on their cars quite often.
