Default 200hp car - FWD vs AWD

I was thinging about converting my car to 4WD. It's a '91 Honda CRX with tuned DOHC ZC engine.
Well, to convert it to 4WD, i would get on some weight. What do you think about power transfer to the wheels? Is it for any good to go on 4WD? If i'm not mistaken i would loose some power and get some more weight. Is there any benefit when drag racing? Let's say i have a 200hp engine.

Has anyone any experinces?

If you are using parts from a jdm integra or crv why not just convert the car to rwd?

It has also a D series engine and it's 4WD

This is all heresay, but fairly reliable heresay...

They're made of glass.

You'll be lucky to put 100 whp through the transfer case without breaking something. 200 whp and a good launch will break the very first time.

Some Street Modified guys have been messing with the idea for autocross since drivetrain is "somewhat" unlimited in that class, but they haven't come up with a workable solution.
