Edelbrock IM install...what sensors are mandatory...pics included

What parts do i need to reinstall on my Edelbrock IM? I have a GE vaccum manifold if that matters. We are finishing up the install today and want to know what we need to install on the new IM. It's the last thing we have to do before we start the car up and run the charge pipes. TIA
ive just installed a BBK on mine( which is a replica of the edelbrock). I switched over all the vacuum leads and sensors, i dont think i left any out, or did i?hmm
I hate those diagrams they are well confusing
The best way to go about it is put away the diagram and get the 2 manifolds and switch the parts across

You can't just put them side by side and switch the every sensor over. There aren't as many ports on the new IM and they are in different spots. Some of the stuff is for emissions...what do we do with those?
IAT sensor should be swapped...
IAC o back of the mani w/ the small coolant lines coming off it.
T-body which includes the TPS and MAP. (Make sure the tb gasket is on correctly)
The big vacuum port goes to the brake booster. The small one goes to the FPR.
You will have some ports that need to be plugged of. The plugs should come with the mani if its new. Theres a vacuum line that goes to the carbon canister. This is not mandatory but if you still have your canister, might as well...
Thats all i can think of right now.
Oh yeah, you may need to extend the IAT wires and your throttle cable bracket may need to be "offset" meaning you use only one mounting hole...
I just swapped my JG to a skunk 2 on Saturday
And also the crankcase breather line and pcv valve. Put the PCV valve onto the "black box" vapor catcher on your block and run the line to the other big port on the manifold...
Hope that covers everything

When I changed to a Skunk2 mani on my GSR I installed the IAT, MAP, and TPS. Water does not flow through the IACV so it is merely plugging holes on the back of the mani. I made a throttle bracket cable from spare metal because I didn't want to waste money on a ITR or EG6 parts. I'll post pics of the throttle cable bracket when I get home tonight.
Hey Dee, No side effects of bypassing the IACV coolant lines?
If thats the case, mine are coming off! I want my manifold to be as col as possible

I live on a tropical island and I have been bypassing the IACV on Honda's since '95 without any problems. Now you folks who live were it gets cold might have some warmup issues in the fall and winter time.
