Open track question for those of you who have Allstate insurance
Anyone with Allstate insurance know what their policy is for open track days and driving schools? Are you covered as long as you aren't being timed? I figured I'd ask here before calling and letting my agent know that I plan on driving warp speed around racetracks this summer.
call a broker/agent not yours ofcourse and ask!
but don't give them your name or anything....
Thats a good question! can anyone answer 100%

I used to have progressive and they told me that they woudl actually have agents inspecting engines for stolen parts as well as people insured by Progressive. If you are a client they will drop you from the insurance for racing. Maybe Allstate has the same policy, wouldn't think they would like to pay for damage that may have happened on the track. Then again maybe not all companies go through all that trouble to catch people.
I have allstate and I asked. As long as it is a training and not a race should be ok. But, I try and get it in writing. I didn't push for this, but will try soon.

. Anyone actually get this in writing?
In Cali the way it works is if is NOT specifically excluded you are covered. Read your Exclusions Clause carefully.
