pic request: aem v2
would like to see pics of the aem v2 installed on 92-95 civic. also what people think of them worth it or is the cold air just as good? also is the noise diffrent then a aem short air?
probably gonna get flamed for this. But yes cold airs do give a slight bit more power then short ram but you run the risk of hydrolock... (water in the engine) V2s are also a pain in the *** to install.
ok thats good to know what about the bypass filter they have now im pretty sure they work good, want to know cause i am lookin at a h22 swap next spring and want to begin getting the parts i will need and i think a new v2 would be a great little addition to a swap rather then recycling the hot air. alos dont hate on me but will a cold air "chirp" compared to a short air i kinda like that over the sound mine makes at shifting

you only hear that with turbo'd cars...
its called a blow off valve.
it keeps the pressure built up in a turbo while your driving, so in between gears you dont have to respool. aka- keeps the power going. the air sound you hear coming out is the waste gate dumping after you left off the gas.
