Default pic request: aem v2

would like to see pics of the aem v2 installed on 92-95 civic. also what people think of them worth it or is the cold air just as good? also is the noise diffrent then a aem short air?

probably gonna get flamed for this. But yes cold airs do give a slight bit more power then short ram but you run the risk of hydrolock... (water in the engine) V2s are also a pain in the *** to install.

ok thats good to know what about the bypass filter they have now im pretty sure they work good, want to know cause i am lookin at a h22 swap next spring and want to begin getting the parts i will need and i think a new v2 would be a great little addition to a swap rather then recycling the hot air. alos dont hate on me but will a cold air "chirp" compared to a short air i kinda like that over the sound mine makes at shifting

what do you mean chrip? the only chirp i know of is the tires?

or you talking about blow off?

heres my v2....i would say its worth the money if your not a track *****. ive raced other ex's and other si hatches all with just a cai or short ram and i would always take them. i like mine

ya u know after accelarating when you let of the gas it makes a chirp kind of sound i dont know how to explain it but it sounds kinda cool.

you only hear that with turbo'd cars...
its called a blow off valve.
it keeps the pressure built up in a turbo while your driving, so in between gears you dont have to respool. aka- keeps the power going. the air sound you hear coming out is the waste gate dumping after you left off the gas.

ive never looked into them nor would i acknowledge my comment but all ive ever heard is theyre junk and dont anything different than non V2 aem intakes. but i wouldnt know.
