Default 90 accord jdm h22a swap

hey i bought the car for 700$ and blew the motor the second day i had it, long story, but i am swappin a JDM H22A in it and want to know any problems or tricks i could use along the way, my buddy who put an LS/Vtec turbo in his integra will be helping, i just wanted to know anything that someone who has done it before has ran into, any insight would be appreciated

Do the timing belt and water pump before you install the motor. Rear motor mount insert will be ALOT easier with the motor out. If you want to do a clutch again intstall this before you intall the new motor. Good luck with the swap you will have a lot of fun with it after your done. Gut the cat also, it makes a BIG difference in performance.

oh yeah do the motor wiring before also.

whats up with the driving lessons comment? i happen to be a very good driver, and in a week when the car is done i will TEACH you how to drive, if your comment isnt positive just keep it to yourself

hey lds thanks for the advice i will keep all that in mind when the motor comes in 5 days, hopefully it all goes smoothly, any problems will deffinatley be posted on here

I got mine for around 2500 in jan of 2005. prolly alot cheaper now. Try h-motors online. they have good motors there.

i got mine off hmotorsonline.com, it is 2500 with lsd trans, ecu, and aall the sensors and such, that also is with shipping

Damn mine dont have LSD so i guess the price went down some on h22 motors Sweet.
