i was wondering if any one can help me with my d series tranny its making this knock sound when i drive it but when i clutch it back down the noise goes away...people told me its the throwout bearing.. but i just replace that clutch and flywheel and some wat new tranny so iono ...maybe it got offset or something...iono if u know wat i am talkin bout please help me out...thanks...

 

input shaft bearing most likely, internal.

 

one way to find out if its a throw out bearing or a input shaft is generally if you depress the clutch pedal and the noise immediatlly it will be a throw out bearing.
if it goes away in about 1-3 seconds it will usually be a input shaft.
