Default Slow Brakes HF CRX

I recently purchased a 90 crx.I noticed driving around it seems to take forever to stop. The brakes seem very slow to stop.Im wondering if its just the "shitty hf brakes" or what should be done to replace it.I dont think its like this from the factory,im not sure but i have not gotten a chance to look at them yet.Any ideas?

yea it's probably just the shitty hf brakes. those things are so small it's a wonder they stop anything at all. just do a brake upgrade. i know when i did a brake swap on my hf i noticed a huge difference in stopping power.

SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH YOUR BRAKES

do the tires lock? maybe u got shitty tires. that car only weighs under 2000 pounds. the stock brakes should stop it fine.

mooshy pedal?
there is no reason for any car to have slow brakes, or lack of braking power. engineers design these cars to safely go and stop. check your fluid you may not have enough fluid to push the brakes hard enough work down from there, check for leaks and make sure they are blead properly.

no tires work fine...the e-brake is vary easy to move up and down...maybe it needs rear cylinders.Brake fluid is fine...maybe i will try bleeding awhile. The car did sit for over a year...

yeah i dont think hf's were made to go 100+.

you said the car has sat for over a year, be careful when loosening the nipples, my rear bleeder valves were rusted shut and when i tried to loosen them they snapped off.
