the car pulls code 14 off and on. when the EACV is unplugged/plugged back in and reset the ecu, the code disappears. but when the car is shut off and restarted, it idles very low, close to zero, then shoots back up and will drive fine. sometimes code, sometimes not. but when it does show the code, it drives a bit sluggish, but otherwise fine.
the car had this code before, but made the car undrivable, idled way too low constantly then when given gas, it acts like the tps is acting up, the 'wawawawa' deal.
anybody got any ideas of what can be done to permanetly rid this code???

 

Troubleshoot the EACV and see if it's faulty. Refer to the Bible. (Helms)

 

go out to the salvage yard and pull one off a low miles civic-crx..i had a map sensor that did this.got a code and ran shitty,reset ecu and it would go away.how do you make it go away?change it! hope this helps,it will !
