Default Code 9 MIL & Code 81 ABS DTC ?

Ok.. Got a Check Engine Light while driving back from work tonight.
When I got home I shorted the service connector and got a Code 9 and a Code 81 on my ABS.

Its too late at night, so I'm going to reset the computer in in the morning and see if I get the CEL again. Code 9 has to do with the CYL Position Sensor in the distributor cap. Since I don't have a scanner, I'm not sure if its an intermittent failure or a total failure of the signal.
a Code 81 for the ABS indicates an ABS ECU problem I think. I can't remember anymore cause its late.

What are the chances of getting a CEL and an ABS DTC at the same time? Could it be that the ABS DTC was there all this time and I didn't know about it? I thought if there is an ABS DTC code, it would keep the ABS light on when driving normally.

Did you figure out the problem? I'm getting a code 9 as well as the abs code 81.

The Code 9 was because my rotor screw catapulted itself out and then the rotor came loose soon thereafter (disabling the car). I'm going to check this screw ever 15,000 miles because it happened two more times.
The code 81 is a mystery. It didn't show up after reseting the computer.
