Ls T3 dyno...more torque than horsepower =)
this is on a stock ls motor with arp head studs and cometic head gasket and straight T3 at app 18 psi...the video is of one of the pulls in 3rd gear where the tires spun...kindof disappointed with the hp but surprised with the torque...the rpm on the dyno sheet is messed up because they probably had the pickup set for a 8 cylinder or something...not really sure how dynos work...but it was revved to 6500...peak numbers are 246hp/292tq

Its impossible to have more torque than horsepower unless you rev under 5200rpm...The Dyno was setup wrong homie...

the reason your torque numbers are fucked up is from all of the wheelspin and whoever was operating the dyno was dumber than ****. maybe he dicked around with the correction numbers or something
TQ = HP at 5225. Or somethnig very clseo to taht. so now you see why it's impossible. Then again you alreayd sad you reved to 6500 yet the dyno plot says you never reveed past 4700. so taht;s why they never overlayp. it's all messed up. Also looking at your A/F ont eh green pull. You'rerunning ridiculously lean up top and for the wheel spin he shoulda known to use 4th gear. Operator = dumbass

yeah i remember that from an auto class i took about 15 years ago. it was a waste of you time and you need to go get your money back or see if they will do it right although if they didn't have time to do it right the first time.........

I'm sorry what are you saying here? So if someone were to rev to, let's say 6300rpm, you cannot have more torque than horsepower? Maybe for Honda motors, but before you start generalizing you might want to take a look at a 1.8T (VW) dyno...

I'm sorry what are you saying here? So if someone were to rev to, let's say 6300rpm, you cannot have more torque than horsepower? Maybe for Honda motors, but before you start generalizing you might want to take a look at a 1.8T (VW) dyno...

Formula for HP is (torque * rpm)/5252
It is mathematically impossible to have more torque than hp after the 5252 crossover.

Look at the sides of the graph, the scales are a little different.

Look at the sides of the graph, the scales are a little different.
The scales on those oens are also differnet. In order to view it right they have to be the same. If the torque scale for all of them were 25 less to make it equal. it looks like it may land in the correct spot.
The two together aren't different, instead of rpm it shows mph. Not that hard to figure out. The first one I posted, and the first of the double pic, show rpm crossover at the same point.
You will have the same hp and torque at 5252 rpm......its just fact. That is where the two "cross"....hence the crossover.
Your crossovers are different because your torque is on a broader scale than your HP. Check your hp and torque at 5252....they are the same.

Ok this makes a little more sense. Since my whp scale is 25-225 and my ftlbs scale is 25-250 it is causing my crossover at a different point on my dyno's.

i did dyno in 4th...the video was done in 3rd though...
