cat converter
Well today I finally got a hold of a used 88 civic EF cat converter for my 90 crx si and had it installed. The cat didn't seem burned out inside and it had about 240, 000km's it when I purchased it.
The car seems to have more low end torque but has lost a little high end power.
More importantly however, is how do I know if the cat is still working properly?
There isn't any burning/rotten eggs smell which is good and the exhaust doesn't smell nearly as bad as it used to without a cat.
What is the average life of a honda cat converter?
Thanks
