Bought a '89 hatch with a 98 sohc vtec. The car is still in NY, I'm in TN so I havent seen it yet in person. It currently has just the two injector set up, how and why, I dont know. Anyway, I found these instructions by doing a search here on honda-tech:

Good info but I had a few concerns I hope someone can address.
The guy I bought this car from says the car has the 98 ECU and he is also giving me the wiring harness and injectors (from a 98 vtec) for the MPFI swap. He really dosent know much about doing it (nor do I) and I'm wondering now, If it has a '98 vtec swap, shouldnt it already have the harness for MPFI? and it obviously has the MPFI manifold, so how did he have the 2 injector set up put in? Wouldnt there be some holes that need to be plugged up and how would the '98 brain which I assume is MPFI programmed, make the 2 injectors hit right? He says the car runs but idles rough and has even put it on a dyno. (200hp) I'm not questioning this guys honesty, He just dosent know jack about the car and I dont really either but I'm a pretty competent guy (hey, quit laughing) and just need a little info. Thanks
