There's a local shop that just powdercoated my stock wheels black for $20 a piece. Turned out VERY nice.

they are charging me 150. There are not really many good place around here that powder coat.

There was a guy who was doing it for alike 30 a wheel. It seems as if he flaked out. I saw a note on his door saying nobody could get a hold of him for 2 weeks and they want the wheels back. So i am staying away form them.

Im looking foward to see how this turns out as well. I have an 05' gsx-r w/ the black color scheme that I was thinking about powdercoating the wheels gold. This should be interesting.

I got a call from the shop today. They can not do the color gold i am looking for. I was loking for a flat tone to the paint. All the have is a shinny gold. Its called transparent gold. He said if i want that color the will due my rotors to match at no charge.

I took him up on the offer.

When i drop of the rotors i am goign to try and work a deal on the swing arm, rear sets, rear pegs, and levers.

I wish they didn't cost so damn much.

It's well worth it though
