I've read about this topic in this forum but it did not help,some says its the speed sensor, but when I checked for the sensor evrything is good as I followed the intruction of the book how to do it . Is there any other fault I could check? This problem started with my radio it just died and next the speedometer goes weired where it goes up to 140 mph when i"m only drivig 50 and sometimes goes 20 and the next time i noticed it didnt work no more and my D4 starts blinking then followed by engine check but every time I turn off the blinking D4 and check engine disappear but only for a few minute after that it comes back.ANYBODY WHO WANTS TO HELP THIS STRUGGLING MECHANIC TO BE WOULD BE MUCH APRECIATED. tHaNkS 94 honda accord

If the D4 light is blinking, it should give you a code for the problem. Same thing with the check engine light. I did'nt get what year your car is? Is there a self diagnosis connector on it?

 

ok but where do we find what the code means? I dont mean the CEL Codes I mean the D4 codes.And yes i have searched for 2 days now.

 

I'VE BEEN TRYING TO GET THE CODE BUT EVERYTIME I TURN THE KEY OFF THE CHECK ENGINE DISAPPEAR AND IF I TRY TO JUMP THE LINE SO I COULD READ FROM THE CEL, IT ONLY LIGHTS UP AND THE D4 STARTS BLINKING 4 TIMES
