im gonna get a stock b16 block cuz i broke my gsr and im having it redone. the b16 is going to be honed and reringed and what ever else needed to be done to work like new.im going to put my gsr head that has skunk 2 vlaves retainers and springs i was wondering how much hp the engine and rpms would the engine take and not pop running hondata with 750cc and msd ignition.

so u going to throw a b16 are u lower the compression? and are u using stock cams with those retainers? and u can get a way with backdatting the ecu to like a p28 or p72 and chipping it and using crome or uberdata to choose it if u don't want to spend a **** load on a hondata, they do the same thing.. i got a chipped p28 with crome pro for my turbo gsr, and i am boosting 8.5psi on stock internals.

 

i allready have hondata the injectors arp head studs and cometic headgasket. the compression should be 10:1 with the gasket.My head is a gsr with stock cams skunk2 valve train. i just wanted to know how much power people are pushing here and how long their b16 are lasting thx
