i found a car for sale that i would like to buy but it has a broken ignition, i was wondering if there is a write up on installing a new one, i tried searching but cant find one. also anyone know about how long it would take me? i dont know very much about working on my cars so anyhelp about this would be great, thanks.

 

What ignition? where the key goes?

If thats the problem, its probly a ******* *****. ive never done it, but I would suggest getting a whole new ignition unit, and make notes where the wires are connected\cut and remove and replace.

 

yea, where the key goes. someone tried to steal the car i guess.

anyone have more info maybe a write up?

also does anyone know if a crx ignition would fit a hatch?
