When im driving around 50 and above and I accelerate the rps go up then drop and stay there for a couple of seconds and the car get this weird bogging and I experience lack of acceleration. Feels like my fuel cuts out or bog from to much gas? Think I need a Tune-up maybe???

 

When is the last time that you replaced the fuel filter?

 

I changed the fuel filter in the summer. but its been a while since i've had tune-up

 

try the spark plugs. thats most likely whats wrong. or the wires.

 

Any Ideas I just Changed the Spark Plugs and Its Still Happening....When I accelerate without letting of the gas the RPM wont fall. But when im crusing at a constant RPM (50-60 and above) and i let off the gas and accelerate again it goes up 200 rpm and dips and stays there for 2 seconds then starts climbing up. Once i get the money imma bring it to Honda to get a major tune-up how much do they cost? 500???? Thanks

 

could be a number of things, maybe a sticking throttle plate
