Read that. I am not sure if it was because it was late at night or if it happened while I was trying to start it after everything I changed. but now I checked it and the gears are off by about 3 three teeth. ( \ ) ( I ) <- Is roughly what it looks like but not that bad at TDC. So I checked the whole belt and it is tight and there are no torn or ripped teeth at all. Did I **** the valves up? Ugh!!! How did this happen?

You should be fine. I would bet it jumped because of you belt tenchener. Check that and make sure it is tight the just line it back up. You should be fine with the valves.
dude, this just happened to me yesterday!!! All of a sudden my car just died and would not start so i had to get it towed to my house. I check the timing and it was off by like 4 teeth, so i re aligned everything hoping no valves were damaged and sure enough it started right up on the first try. It sounds good as new, like nothing happened. I am soooo lucky hope that you will be too. Anyone know why it jumped??? The tensioner was still tight, maybe it took a **** and not compensating the belt enough? wierd.
