Default O2 sensor by-pass?

When we were putting on a new exhaust we had to torch the bolts by the cat...A side effect we didn't think about until afterwards was the O2 sensor melting to ****.

Is there a way I can bypass the o2 sensor so it won't throw the code, or do I have to buy a new one.... Seeing as how I'm cheap I'd prefer the good 'ol by-pass.

Anyone know?

just buy a new one. you can always spend more $$ and program an ecu so you dont need one but then you will need a wideband o2 which costs a lot more than a stock o2
