Default B16 timing !!SEARCHED CANT FIND!!

Hey I got a 1st gen JDM B16 in my 93 coupe..I swapped it from my CRX..well ofcourse all the converting and stuff. So anyways I put an obd1 Del Sol Vtec dizzy on it because I was running a d series for a while, So I wanted the power back that my engine should be puting out. I put it on there blah blah to make a long sotry short...when I have the dizzy in the middle of the slots that it bolts into..when I pressed the gas it would fall on its face then pick up...So I moved the dizzy toward my firewall to advance the timing (as far as it can go in the slot).. But my friend said I should put it back in the middle before I blow my engine it doesnt have to do with dizzy timing but my crank timing or something he said...So does anyone have picutres of the correct timing for a 1st gen B16.. I know my engine should have alot of power because I have Type R internals in it..and I searched nothing came up so could I please get pictures maybe a description? and if my friend was right about the whole timing thing...Thanks in advance to anyone who helps me out...please help though because I want the power of my engine back!!

get hold of a timing light and adjust your timing.

if you really don't want to buy one use it and return it.

Setting the timing with a light is simple and pretty much the only accurate way.

it dont matter where you put the dizzy at because the computer will always set it the same. you need to jump the service conector before you set it. and yes you will blow up your engine like that. not right away but eventually.
