Default Stator Cover and exhaust question

K so I have had some bad luck lately with the bike.

I laid the bike down while I was putting it in the garage, I slipped in FUQING oil, and it scratched up the stator cover a little bit, I saw a CF stator cover on ebay for like 60 bucks...and I hate seeing the scratches, How hard is it to install this? Because some guy made a thread and said like oil and crap came out? I dont want that crap to happen to me-

Also

As most of you know, I got the D&D slip on, and I found out I have a small exhaust leak where the manifold and slip-on connect...I have the slip-on tightened as good as it'll go, anything else I can do to stop this leak??

Thanks guys

That cover dosent replace what you have, it just covers it up. So if all you want to do is hide the scratches then it will work.

yup that cf cover just covers up your original stator cover...If nothing is wrong with your stock one except for the scratches i guess the cf cover will fix it right up.

and the exhaust leak shouldn't be so bad. Unless its a big huge exhaust leak.
