homemade intake for b16/ef....question about vacuum lines
the intakes i see on ebay all seem to have one vacuum line coming off of them....the stock intake has 3, what happens to the other lines?
so if the two bottom lines dont matter, what are the sensors that the lines go to?
just cap off the sensors?
ha, if i could get this intake figured out then i wouldn't have half a b16 and half a d16 intake duct taped together
umm, the wires...ive got no excuse there, one of those things i told myself id go back and do nicer later but never became a priority

They are called dashpot valves. Their purpose is to alleviate sudden jerks when you quickly let off the throttle by keeping the throttle cable tugged on ever so slightly.
