Need some help on how to adjust the a/c belt tension. My belt is too loose making it squeel when the compressor kicks on. Any easy way to do this?

 

i might be thinking of the power steering but you should be able to loosen the bolts on the unit and move it up/out a little bit to tighten the belt up. if not there should be a separate pulley (the belt tensioner) its a little bronze one that doesnt run anything, just tightens the belt up. use the same method.

that is how mine was on my da!!! but i took it out now...lol.

I adjusted mine about 1 week ago in my GSR. 1st thing i did was i removed the bolt of the PS. loosen the belt and moved the ps aside. After moving it aside have someone to hold it so it wouldnt hang. You will see the pulley and a 10mm bolt pointing up. Adjust that 10mm bolt clockwise to the required tension of the belt. Hook the belt to the PS and bolt it up.
