How to wire fan to stay on with ign ACC?
i put a turbo timer on my car and i guess that i after i shut off the ignition that the power or ground to the radiator fan circuit gets cut off. i had the timer in auto mode the other day and i ran inside to walk my dogs real quick, when i came back outside and started the car it was a bit hot. anyone know how to wire it so it will stay on with the igntiton in the ACC. position?
u can do it the cheap ghetto way and unplug the fan, run a ground wire to the black wire on the fan, then i believe the other wire is blue and run that to the ignition switch (use a test light to find the wire under ur steerin columm with the key to the "on" position) or u can wire up a relay which i would do which involves doin the same stuff, just the fan has a direct battery power source
