my insurance company doesn't like me anymore, they are dropping me april 16th and I only have 10 points and 1 claim

 

i've been looking scince 9: am and can't find anyone who writes NJ...

 

Security Idemnity...small *** company.
$1k/year for me, 21, on my own policy. No accidents, 1 ticket (went to traffic school for).

call colonial penn in PA. thats what i use dont have number iff hand. i warn you your looking at, depending on ur age and points between 3000-5000.

I just gave them a call, they said it takes 4-6 weeks to write a policy? and they don't have an office/ only over the phone to save their customers money...

So back to square one.

I got screwed by Liberty Mutual ...... ins rates went from $3300 per year to $5300 per year for 3 cars. 2000 Kia Sephia, 2000 Honda Civic, 1998 ITR. I'm 28 & married with 4 points 1 claim made 3 years ago.

I shopped around last month ..... the best I found was AllState! Believe it or not!
They quoted me $3000 for the year. Thats cheaper than LibertyMutual.

They AllState was hell-o-valot better than NJ Cure, NJ Manufacturer, General Accident/Camden fire, etc.... I checked them all out!

Try AllState ......... in one week I was covered. The only thing that took some time was trying to get proof of past insurance documents faxed from my former insurance companies.

 

well it seems at this point I might have to do the worst thing possible, Sell?

I am unable to find ins for under 11,000 for the year even got a qoute for $15,992!!!!! yr And i have a clean lic!!!

just unable to find a company who doesn't know what we drive

I have a place in Nj or Ny and that does not seem to help, what else can i do????

I love the ITR too much to sell and second i have 4 more years left on the finance, in other words i'll take a $ beating if i sell

 

If worst comes to worse, try to use a relative's address in another state (such as Pa, Ct, De, and etc) and register and get a driver's license from that state. It might be a hassle but its certainly cheaper. I rather do that then pay $3000-$5000 premiums.

 

i have done that for the past yr in Fl now i have to move to "home" ...

or alot closer to home...

mom is in NJ. dad is in NY which ever...

 

That's what I'm doing next month. I'm gonna have a washington DC license baby!!!!!
